Because of the wide extension of the province the Huesca -15.671 Km².- we can find a range of natural landscapes. Within 200 Km. in length, from north to south, we go through the Pyrenean peaks, higer than 3.000 m., to the Pyrenean Somontano followed by the Monegros area of semi-desert and the lowlands of the low Cinca river, that hardly reach 100 m. high.

From the Pyrenees to the plain, Huesca has a wide diversity of changing geometrical shapes, in which every season shows different colours, light and shapes and where wind, water and sun are the genuine landscape builders.
